FAQ's

Do I provide my own lock?


  • All customer are required to provide their own lock, but ask about our specials, as we often include free locks


Do I have to give a Notice to vacate?


  • We ask for a 7 day written notice to vacate, which ensure that, if the unit is left clean, you can get your full deposit back


How do I pay?


  • Payment is due the 1st of every month, and can be paid by cash, check, money order, Visa and MasterCard. You can come into the office, leave a payment in the drop box, mail a payment, or pay over the phone by card. We also offer an automatic payment system.


What size unit do I need?


  • The size you want will depend on the amount you want to store, and how regularly you will be accessing your stuff. We recommend you come in and look at a size in person before making any decisions. Some things to think about when considering size include:


  • Will I be storing long term or only fur a few months?

  • Can I stack boxes, or turn larger furniture on end?

  • Do I need to be able to access any item that will be stored in the back of the unit?


Can I buy packing supplies on site?


  • We do sell moving boxes depend file boxes on site, as well as tape, box cutters, drop cloths, and mattress protectors as well as disc locks.


What if I lose my access code?


  • If you lose or forget your access code, come into the office and we will make a new card for you. You must present photo ID, and the unit must be in your name in order for us to give you the code.


How much will it cost to move in?


  • Move in costs vary depending on the day of move in. Because everyone is prorated in, the cost is the deposit, plus the days of the month left at move in. Feel free to call us anytime and we can give you a more exact price before you move.

Tips


  • Place stereos, cameras and high value items to the rear, in unmarked boxes

  • Put plastic or pallets on the floor

  • Keep an inch of air space around the perimeter

  • Place frequently used items towards the front

  • Cover items with light plastic

  • Store refrigerators and freezers with the doors ajar

  • Pack books flat (to protect the spines) in small boxes lined with plastic

  • Break down any furniture that can be

  • Items powered by batteries should have the batteries removed
